01The service
Brhannivesh is software for consolidating client portfolio statements, preparing quarterly reports and delivering them to clients under your practice's brand.
Brhannivesh is a reporting tool. It does not provide investment advice, recommend products or place, modify or redeem any investment.
02Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your sign-up details, for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Give team members their own logins with the role they need, and remove access promptly when someone leaves.
03Your responsibilities as a practice
Your practice remains responsible for its relationship with its clients and for meeting its own regulatory obligations.
- Obtain each client's consent before importing their statements, and record it in Brhannivesh.
- Review reports before approving them for delivery.
- Treat points for discussion as observations for your professional judgment, not as advice to be passed on.
- Ensure that disclosures on your reports meet the requirements of your registration.
04Accuracy of reports
Reports are prepared from the statements you and your clients provide and from published prices and NAVs. We work to read every statement correctly and flag any that cannot be read, but we cannot guarantee that source documents are complete or error free.
Plain-language summaries are drafted from calculated figures. You should read each summary before approval and edit it where needed.
05Fees and billing
Fees are charged per client family, per year, according to your schedule, and are billed annually in advance. Families added during the year are charged pro rata. There are no per-transaction charges.
If an invoice remains unpaid after reminders, we may restrict account access until it is settled. Client data is not deleted for non-payment without prior notice.
06Acceptable use
You may not use Brhannivesh to import data without consent, to send unsolicited marketing, to misrepresent the source of a report, or to attempt to access another practice's data or interfere with the service.
07Data ownership
Your practice's data, and your clients' data, remain yours. You can export reports and records at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
08Branding and intellectual property
You retain all rights to your logo and branding. You grant us permission to apply them to the reports and portal pages we prepare for you. The software, report designs and underlying methods remain ours.
09Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service in any year is limited to the fees your practice paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for investment decisions or for losses arising from the performance of any investment.
10Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time from settings. On closure, you will have thirty days to export your data before it is deleted, subject to any records we must retain by law. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with notice wherever practical.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
